Senior Lawyer for Complex Transactions

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with a focus on grid integration to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. As a trusted advisor to our business units, you will provide legal guidance on complex transactions and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating contract terms with customers, partners, and suppliers, including framework agreements and partnership/consortium agreements
- Developing effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and support business activities, including identifying legal issues of concern to the business
- Collaborating with local and global legal teams to ensure consistency and best practices, including contributing to the preparation of tender submissions
- Managing disputes and litigations with internal and external stakeholders, including promoting dispute avoidance
Requirements:
- University Law Degree from a Swedish university
- Extensive experience as a lawyer in grid system or major utilities construction/engineering projects
- Knowledge of governmental and commercial regulations, including FIDIC and offshore contracts
- Proven communication, drafting of contracts, and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including team spirit
