Responsibilities

The Head of Education, Software Product Unit will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing a strategic plan for the Education Software Product Unit, aligning it with Tietoevry's overall objectives and strategy.
    • Providing visionary leadership, setting clear goals and priorities for the unit.
    • Overseeing the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Edlevo product portfolio.
    • Driving innovation and ensuring that solutions meet the Edtech market practices and public sector national standards.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product roadmap and prioritize feature development.
    • Working closely with the Sales, Product Management, and Product Services functions to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring market penetration and customer acquisition.
    • Engaging with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and aligning product plans accordingly.
    • Supporting revenue growth through successful product positioning and competitive differentiation.
    • Leading and inspiring a diverse team in functions including Products & Strategy, Technology & Development, Product Services, and Sales.
    • Fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
    • Supporting career development and employee engagement initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
