Job Description

As a key member of our signalling system design team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our rail signalling systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the software configuration of Interlocking (IXL) systems meets the highest standards.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced software developer to take part in the execution of IXL application design activities for signalling projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with IXL and/or TMS and/or ERTMS application design or relevant positions in a highly complex environment (railway signalling, aerospace, defense).

Your Key Responsibilities

- Take part in the execution of IXL application design activities for signalling projects
- Adopt the Alstom application design process
- Ensure delivery according to project schedules and quality commitments
- Support the Project IXL design leader and V&V manager in design issues debugging
- Contribute to the definition of software package deliverables to the Verification & Validation team
- Manage the handover to the Installation, Testing & Commissioning team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Transport or equivalent
  • 1 year in IXL and/or TMS and/or ERTMS application design or 1 year experience in relevant positions in a highly complex environment (railway signalling, aerospace, defense)
  • English and Swedish language skills
  • Understanding of the railway traffic control system
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and effective time management
  • A proactive and resourceful approach
  • Sense of urgency
