About the Department

CENE is a multidisciplinary department that combines expertise in civil engineering, environmental science, and natural resources management. Our research subject focuses on the management and development of construction-related projects, businesses, and operations.

We have a strong track record of research collaboration with industry partners and other universities, and we are looking for someone who can build on this success.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the subject, comprising research and education at all levels.
  • Ensure funding for activities and maintain contact with the wider community.
  • Build a strong research subject where doctoral students, staff, and students grow.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Research expertise and teaching expertise.
  • Prominent within the subject area, demonstrating high international standards and clear progress in quality.
  • A total scientific output equivalent to at least three doctoral theses, including the doctoral thesis.
  • Academic leadership experience, including research-related commissions and leading research projects.
  • Experience in supervising doctoral students and educational leadership.
