Our Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering (CENE) is now seeking an Academic Leader in Construction Management to continue leading, strengthening, developing and promoting education and research in Construction Management and Building Technology.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher and educator to join our team and contribute to the development of our research subject. As an Academic Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing the subject, which comprises research and first-, second- and third-cycle education. You will also have a particular responsibility to ensure the funding of the activities and for contact with the wider community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the research subject, including research and education
- Ensure the funding of the activities and for contact with the wider community
- Contribute to the development of our research subject and education program
We are looking for an experienced researcher and educator who has demonstrated both research expertise and teaching expertise. You should have a strong track record of research output, including publications in top-tier journals and experience of leading research projects. You should also have experience of supervising doctoral students and teaching at various levels.
In addition to your academic qualifications and experience, we are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others, to build effective teams and to communicate complex ideas effectively.
