The Rovio Stockholm studio is actively developing one of the flagship games in our portfolio, alongside several exciting new projects. As our games continue to grow in popularity, we are looking to enhance our QA team with a Quality Assurance Lead. In this role, you will contribute to the development of high-performing mobile games enjoyed by millions of daily users.

We adopt a hybrid working model, with two days a week in the office, and we support relocation for candidates not currently residing in Sweden.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the technical quality of the Angry Birds 2 game Managing the development and oversight of QA analytics within the game Mentoring all members of the QA team Playing a crucial role in helping the game meet quality benchmarks Motivating others to excel and actively working towards organizational objectives Ensuring adherence to guidelines and processes while continuously improving tools and teamwork Coordinating external QA efforts at the game level

Required experience and skills:

Demonstrated leadership experience in QA, particularly in supervisory and leadership roles Extensive QA experience leading to expertise in relevant disciplines Proven background in commercial game QA for live free-to-play titles Proficiency with defect management, test management, crash/error logs, reporting tools, and test automation tools for mobile platforms Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and game development tools Strong understanding of mobile platforms and hardware, as well as data structure configurations (e.g., JSON) Excellent communication skills with both internal and external teams Solid grasp of data analytics and decision-making based on data Strategic thinking abilities
