PhD Position in Experimental Physics at KTH

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join our particle physics group at KTH, engaged in the ATLAS experiment at CERN. This is a fully-funded PhD position in experimental physics, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in the field.
Research FocusThe successful candidate will be involved in data analysis and physics interpretation from the ATLAS experiment, with potential involvement in the development of the High-Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD). Our research focuses on measurements of the Higgs boson and searches for new long-lived particles.
Eligibility and Qualifications- Hold a second-cycle degree (e.g., master's degree) or have completed course requirements equivalent to at least 240 higher education credits, including at least 60 second-cycle credits.
- Demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to English B/6.
- Possess a strong academic background in experimental physics, with experience in computer programming for data analysis.
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
