We're fast-paced, always looking for ways to improve our operations and stay ahead of the game. That's why we're now seeking a skilled Software Engineer with machine learning expertise to join our Route Optimization team.
The Role:
You'll play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and enhancing the models and services that drive our core operations. This will involve collecting and preprocessing data, developing and validating models, deploying them, and integrating them into our routing engine.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain models and services, ensuring high standards of code quality and efficiency
- Take the lead on developing new features and refactoring existing code
- Stay up-to-date with software development trends and experiment with new approaches and technologies
- Collaborate with algorithm engineers, machine learning engineers, and the broader tech team to share ideas and support each other in achieving our goals
- Advocate for best coding practices, inspiring others to maintain high standards
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer, working in a modern tech environment
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning models
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, with familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other DevOps tools
