About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Engineering to join our team at Arrowhead Game Studios. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering efforts and driving the development of our co-op games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical vision and direction for our engineering teams, ensuring that our games are developed with the highest quality and meet the needs of our players.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in our engineering processes and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, design, and art, to ensure that our games meet the needs of our players and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a technical roadmap that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in game development, including leadership positions.
  • Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in multiple programming languages, including C, C++, C#, and Lua.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership experience at a senior level, including strategic work and team management.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and the ability to make informed decisions that drive business results.
