We are seeking an experienced Engineering Quality Specialist to join our team in the European Hub. As an Engineering Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence within our Quality function, developing and applying DFMEA training and practices, identifying critical quality deliverables, enhancing review culture, processes, and methods, establishing control mechanisms along engineering processes, securing effective verification and validation practices, and ensuring engineering processes are fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Apply DFMEA Training and Practices: Create and implement comprehensive DFMEA training programs for cross-functional teams, focusing on root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  2. Identify Critical Quality Deliverables: Work with product line leaders to identify key quality deliverables, develop metrics for measurement, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  3. Enhance Review Culture, Processes, and Methods: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance review processes, standardize methods, and reduce errors.
  4. Establish Control Mechanisms Along Engineering Processes: Develop and implement control mechanisms to ensure adherence to engineering processes, including PPAP, APQP, Lean 6 Sigma, Ishikawa, FTA, FMEA, and QFD.
  5. Secure Effective Verification and Validation Practices: Ensure all products undergo rigorous testing and validation, meeting regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  6. Ensure Engineering Processes Are Fit for Purpose: Regularly assess and improve engineering processes to ensure they align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in a quality management position in an electro-mechanical or related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with process tools like PPAP, APQP, Lean 6 Sigma, Ishikawa, FTA, FMEA, and QFD.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Fluency in English and strong interpersonal skills.
