We are looking for a skilled Transformer Design Expert to join our team at Hitachi Energy Sweden AB. As a Transformer Design Expert, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing transformer designs for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with various departments within the organization.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electro power engineering or electro physics. A Master's degree is of advantage. Analytical strength, understanding of the business, knowledge of physical and technical fundamentals are also required. Fluent English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Swedish language is of advantage.

Your Responsibilities
  • Create a design of transformer/reactor optimized according to customer requirement, factory production limitation, and relevant standards.
  • Be part of R&D's projects to continue developing the best technical solutions.
  • Support Market and Sales in offering the best tender solutions and during technical tender negotiations with customers.
  • Choose the main materials (steel, cable, insulation) and accessories (bushings, CT, OLTC etc.) for the transformers under design stage.
  • Conduct inspection of the finalized product in our production to ensure that the transformer meets our highly set quality standards.
