Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Transformation Manager to onboard and implement marketing and communications technology for Nordea's Group Brand, Communication and Marketing organisation (GBCM).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

About the Team:

You will be part of a small team with nice, competent, and highly motivated colleagues in the Insights and Solutions team in GBCM.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Define project scope, governance, goals, and deliverables: Define project scope, governance, goals, and deliverables for development of existing tools or support the requirement setting for new tools in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Support internal stakeholders: Support internal stakeholders in assessing, selecting, and implementing new technology solutions.
  3. Maintain applications: As application owner, maintain 'your' applications and support internal stakeholders in understanding the opportunities with existing tools (such as Haiilo, Sprinklr, Twentythree etc.) ensuring they are being used effectively and efficiently.
  4. Establish relationships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders in GBCM, Nordea Finance, and other parts of Nordea, team members, vendors, and other external partners.
  5. Monitor progress: Monitor and report on project progress to ensure that milestones are met, and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  6. Identify risks: Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  7. Communicate status: Communicate project status, issues, and risks to senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Document everything: Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experienced in independently driving technology projects with good knowledge of MarTech tools.
  • Leadership: Experience in actively leading digital transformation initiatives in large organisations.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders involved in application projects and maintenance.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business acumen: Excellent understanding of the user perspective of the tools, as well as strong business acumen and understanding of the financial industry.
  • Project management: Proven experience in managing projects in a complex environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintenance: Must recognise the significance and have first-hand experience in effectively managing application maintenance.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Education: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the aforementioned areas of responsibility is required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is also necessary.
  • Desirable skills: Experience using applications for social media management, content production, digital asset management, etc., is a plus. Experience working with data management and reporting is also desirable.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is approximately €90,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Location: The role is full-time and based in Helsinki or Stockholm.
