Post-doc Researcher in Intelligent Micromobility Safety

This post-doc position is a full-time temporary employment for two years at Chalmers tekniska högskola. The position is focused on modeling cyclists and e-scooterist behavior to support active safety applications.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on impaired rider behavior and develop computational models to support intelligent applications and automated driving.
- Plan and run controlled experiments, including participant recruitment, preparation of applications for ethical approval, and data collection in a laboratory set-up.
- Supervise and co-supervise master and PhD students, and teach a small amount of courses.
- Present research results in oral and written form, and support writing new research grants on micromobility and intoxicated riding.
- Hold a doctoral degree in engineering, awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline.
- Have excellent knowledge of the English language (both oral and written).
- Have extensive experience in programming (e.g., Python) and modeling human behavior.
- Have experience in planning and running controlled experiments, including participants recruitment, preparation of applications for ethical approval, and data collection in a laboratory set-up.
- Project work and work experience in computational rider modeling, time-series behavior data, and micromobility safety.
- Cultural awareness, good collaboration and communication skills, and a quality-conscious and problem-solving attitude.
