Job Overview

We're a leading solar and BESS developer with over 20 years of global experience. As a Project Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in developing solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Sweden. Your expertise will drive the growth of renewable energy in the region, making a tangible impact on the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate greenfield and brownfield projects from land acquisition through to financial close, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, utilizing your exceptional project management skills.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to secure necessary permits for land-use planning, leveraging your knowledge of local regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate grid connections with TSO/DSO, internal grid teams, and external advisors, driving seamless project execution.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams (portfolio management, engineering, legal) and external stakeholders, including municipalities, landowners, authorities, and advisors.
  • Provide guidance and support to your team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in solar, BESS, and/or wind project development, with a strong track record of success.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with land acquisition, land-use planning, and/or grid connection design, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
