About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist who is passionate about ensuring software excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript for web applications.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications utilizing tools such as Node.js, WebDriverIO, and Appium.
  • Conduct thorough functional and non-functional testing of our applications, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks. This includes feature testing, regression testing, usability testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans and checklists.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, sales teams, and support staff to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Continuously enhance testing processes and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation.
  • Monitor support channels to assist with functional issues and clarify misunderstood functionalities.
  • Create demonstration videos to showcase new functionalities to platform users.
  • Maintain a stable testing environment and ensure test data is appropriately managed.

About You

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a natural ability to take responsibility while balancing professionalism with a positive workplace atmosphere.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing for both web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Angular.
  • Understanding of back-end development, particularly with Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of Azure microservices and cloud-based architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Capacity to manage stress and adapt to changing priorities.
