About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our Building Management System (BMS) team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our development department, you will play a crucial role in the development of our corporate BMS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop automated tests for scalable and secure platforms, including integration, acceptance, smoke, functional, and performance testing.
  2. Contribute to the evolution of our automated testing infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our dynamic and iterative Agile development setting.
  3. Collaborate with architects and other key stakeholders to clarify and deliver project requirements, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  4. Work with stakeholders to solve internal and external problems, leveraging your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 2 years of software development experience AND Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 5+ years of software quality assurance experience.
  2. Experience in designing and building test automation in a continuous integration environment, including functional and performance testing from development to staging and production.
  3. Knowledge of QA methodologies in the context of Agile software lifecycle (Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) desired).
  4. Minimum 2 years of experience with scripting languages.
  5. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
  1. Experience with Linux.
  2. Experience with Jenkins.
  3. Experience with SQL databases and concepts.
  4. Experience with MS Visual Studio Tools.
  5. Python.
