
Medical Affairs Leadership Manager

As a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry, Thor Companies is committed to shaping the future of medical affairs. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Affairs Leadership Manager to play a key role in driving strategic leadership for medical affairs in the region.
The successful candidate will collaborate with key opinion leaders, physicians, and healthcare professionals to facilitate scientific discussions, support trial enrollment, and deliver educational programs and training. Acting as the primary medical contact, your expertise will be essential in strengthening team capabilities and enhancing customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing scientific literature to guide company strategy and consolidating actionable medical insights.
- Developing regional medical affairs objectives and translating them into effective scientific exchange initiatives.
- Managing relationships with key opinion leaders and supporting faculty development activities.
- Supporting clinical research (ISS and SIS) by identifying investigators, managing protocols, and reviewing study data. Collaborating with regulatory affairs for submissions and product approvals while maintaining knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical affairs, scientific communications, and/or clinical research, ideally within aesthetics; backgrounds in medical devices or pharmaceuticals may also be considered.
- An advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of combination product (drug and medical device) development and regulatory processes.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, with excellent communication skills.
