Working as an OT/ICS Security Consultant
As an integral part of our consulting team, working closely with senior consultants and clients, you will be responsible for engaging with clients from various industries, understanding their operational needs, and helping them secure their OT/ICS environments.
Your role will involve:
- Consultancy: You'll work with clients to understand their operational requirements and help them implement robust security measures to safeguard their OT/ICS environments.
- Support Projects: You'll collaborate on security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks. This will involve hands-on experience with industrial systems and applying security best practices in real-world scenarios.
- Learning & Development: This role offers significant opportunities for growth and development. You'll work alongside experienced consultants who will mentor you and help you develop your expertise in OT/ICS security.
- Client Interaction: You'll communicate directly with clients, providing actionable insights and guidance on securing their OT environments. You'll translate complex security concepts into practical recommendations that clients can implement in their operations.

To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong Interest: A passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in how industrial systems work. You're eager to learn and ready to dive into the complexities of OT/ICS environments.
- Basic Knowledge: A solid understanding of industrial automation, network security, and relevant standards such as IEC 62443, NIST 800-82. While you may not have extensive experience, you have a strong desire to develop your skills in these areas.
- Proactive Mindset: You're not afraid to ask questions and seek out information. You're a problem solver who is eager to take initiative and contribute to the team's success.
- Effective Communication: You can clearly communicate your ideas and findings, both in writing and verbally. You're able to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues in a way that's easy to understand.
Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible work arrangements, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative work environment.
