The Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience at Chalmers tekniska högskola is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Hybrid Quantum Systems Laboratory. Our research focuses on developing quantum technologies for sensing and testing fundamental physics.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in collaboration with others, leading to the development of a hybrid quantum system capable of generating macroscopic quantum states of motion.
- Coach PhD students and contribute to the advancement of the state-of-the-art in nanomechanics, optomechanics, and cavity quantum electrodynamics.
- Develop skills, the team, and contribute with creative ideas to the project.
- A Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Experience with experimental atomic physics, optics, photonics, optomechanics, nanofabrication, nanomechanics, or cryogenics is beneficial.
- A full-time temporary employment for two years.
- A newly renovated lab space and a state-of-the-art nanofabrication facility.
