MEDICAL SUPPORT LEAD

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is seeking a skilled medical professional to oversee our Nordic Medical Support function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement procedures for managing sickness absence, ensuring compliance with laws and agreements.
  • Collaborate with base management to reduce sick leave and facilitate quicker return-to-work processes for crew members.
  • Analyze trends and suggest relevant actions to improve our medical support setup.
  • Maintain open dialogue with the occupational health service and other partners regarding sickness absence.
  • Act as a liaison between managers, employees, and external health services.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent background/competence.
  • Knowledge of systematic approaches in working with leadership training, people management, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent computer/system skills, administrative competence, and ability to balance short-term and long-term objectives.
