Deputy European Union Pharmacovigilance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy European Union Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance to join our team at Lilly. As a key member of our Global Patient Safety organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of our medicines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the European Union Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance as required and according to delegation.
- Provide strategic and technical pharmacovigilance advice to Global Patient Safety and other regulatory and medical functions.
- Play an active role in the Global Patient Safety Leadership Team, Safety Review Committee, and other committees as required.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to safety surveillance scientists and other Global Patient Safety Medical physicians and clinical research scientists.
- Participate in recruitment and succession planning activities and provide advice regarding potential candidates.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and clinical experience.
- Global focus with residency and operation in the EU/EEA.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmacovigilance, with a strong understanding of epidemiology principles.
- Problem-solving skills, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making capability in pressurized circumstances.
- Strong influencing, coaching, and negotiating skills across multiple internal and external audiences and levels of seniority.
