Mechanical Plant Design Team Manager Position

The Mechanical Plant Design team is looking for a leader to drive team success and support development.

The team is responsible for mechanical aspects of global HVDC projects and is part of the engineering department at HVDC.

This role involves managing a team of 15-20 professionals, focusing on motivation, engagement, and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead employee training initiatives, set strategic directions, and coordinate team tasks.
  2. Oversee priority management, ensure performance targets are met, and contribute to project phases.
  3. Engage in proactive recruiting, staff planning, and adapt to business needs.
  4. Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and collaborate with management to develop HR strategies.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Prior experience in people management or leadership roles.
  2. Relevant experience in areas such as talent management, employee relations, HR, team leadership, or change management.
  3. Aptitude for technology and technical engineering.
  4. Excellent communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is required.
