About the Job

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineering manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our Mechanical Plant Design group, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and driving the development of mechanical aspects of global HVDC projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of 15-20 professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary resources, training, and support to meet business needs.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for the team's growth and development, including employee training and talent management.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that priorities are managed effectively and goals are met during all project phases.
  4. Manage employee relations and develop initiatives to foster a sense of community among employees.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience.
  • Relevant experience in areas such as talent management, employee relations, human resources, team leading, or organizational management.
  • Strong interest in technology and technical engineering.
  • Excellent communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
