Mechanical Engineer for Power Transformer Development

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is a leading provider of power transmission and distribution solutions. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our power transformer products.

In this role, you will work closely with our electrical engineers and project managers to design and develop high-quality power transformers. Your primary focus will be on preparing production drawings and purchasing documents, collaborating with colleagues on continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting project management in technical discussions and customer meetings.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in technical discussions and customer meetings, showcasing your expertise and building relationships with our clients. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks will enable you to make significant contributions to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power transformer components and systems
  • Prepare production drawings and purchasing documents
  • Collaborate with colleagues on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support project management in technical discussions and customer meetings
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
