Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Financial Operations Specialist to join our finance team at Paligo. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within our accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable Management: Handle invoices, manage vendor communication, and ensure timely payments.
- Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve discrepancies.
- Vendor Management: Oversee new vendor requests, ensuring compliance with budget and policies; manage vendor agreements, including tracking renewals, costs, and terms.
- Bank Transaction Reconciliation: Record and reconcile manual bank transactions within our automated system.
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
- Expense Management: Manage company cards and oversee expense reporting.
- General Financial Support: Provide financial support across various departments and functions within the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting and VAT legislation.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
