We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Associate to support our accounts payable process for the DACH region. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process end-to-end, ensuring accurate and timely financial results, and collaborating closely with the rest of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable Process Management: Independently manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate coding of invoices and obtaining approval from different business units within set deadlines.
- Payment Processing and Reconciliation: Process payment runs and bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, review employee expenses, and ensure appropriate documentation and coding.
- Vendor Management: Maintain Vendor Master data in the ERP-system (Netsuite), reconcile vendor accounts and statements, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations related to accounts payable.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate closely with the rest of the finance function to implement efficient processes, support monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting, and external audits.
- Finance Professional: Bachelor's degree (or Higher Vocational Education) within business administration, finance, or similar.
- AP Process Experience: Experience working independently with the AP-process, from data capture to payments and reconciliation.
- Technical Skills: Excellent skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets, good understanding of different systems, such as AP-systems (Medius) or ERP-systems (Netsuite).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and German.
