We are seeking a highly motivated and independent researcher to join our team as a postdoctoral research associate in the field of food recalls. This project focuses on investigating food recalls in the food supply chain, emphasizing food safety.
The selected candidate will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team consisting of representatives from academia, government agencies, and the private sector. Our goal is to utilize registry data to examine why food is recalled before reaching consumers and identify where in the food chain these recalls occur.
To achieve this objective, interviews will be conducted with businesses and regulatory authorities to gain insights into their approaches towards food recalls. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to publish scientific findings in relevant areas.
This position is ideal for a junior researcher, and we primarily seek candidates who have obtained their Ph.D. within the last three years. We welcome applications from individuals with experience in research related to food and public health, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English.
