About the Role

As a Senior Designer at AKQA Inc, you will be part of a team that influences changes in consumer behavior through innovative ideas, creativity, and brand design. You will work closely with the Client, Strategy, and Technology teams to deliver projects from brief to consumer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the creative lead in developing and delivering award-winning work for clients, driving change through ideas, creativity, and interactive media.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring a consistent visual language across digital touchpoints that stays ahead of industry trends and elevates the client's brand.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to improve and enhance the client's global platform.
  • Support senior creative team members in ideation, creation, and delivery of digital content and social assets.
  • Deliver successful solutions and high-quality work to clients on time, ensuring high levels of internal and external client and team satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical and digital design developments, applying them to improve processes and procedures.
  • Participate in pitches and proposals, presenting ideas and creative concepts to clients and peers confidently.
  • Execute world-class innovative and effective digital communications, interface design, and interaction design experiences across all digital platforms.
  • Manage asset creation, collation, and archiving.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Designer, including web design experience.
  • Experience in a creative/agency environment is required.
  • Proficiency with Figma/Sketch, Creative Cloud, and traditional print applications.
  • A degree in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brands and their visual impact on culture.
  • Ability to create, redesign, or refresh a distinct identity for a product, service, or company.
  • Experience producing designs across various formats, platforms, and environments.
  • Expertise in branding, brand strategy, and understanding design that can be effectively relayed through all brand components.
  • Ability to create presentations to share conceptual thinking and proposals.
  • Understanding of digital design systems, design processes, and front-end implementation.
  • Solid grasp of design fundamentals including typography, illustration, and motion design.
