Overview

Höganäs AB is a leading manufacturer of powders, with a strong presence in the global market. We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our IT strategy and drive digital transformation across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing IT strategies, as well as experience in leading IT departments and delivering IT-related projects. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders and management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals and objectives
  • Lead and develop the IT department, including infrastructure, applications, project management, business intelligence, security, and support services
  • Collaborate with leaders and facilitate the network of IT key users in the organization for leveraging synergies and further collaboration
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute projects, including digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage
  • Manage IT-related risk, information security, and integrity of the data and IT systems
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relations effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid experience from a senior IT leadership role, preferably in an international setting
  • Proven track record developing IT departments, delivering IT-related projects, preferably including digital transformation
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and their business applications
  • Experience with IT budget management and financial planning
  • Familiarity with Qlik BI applications is an advantage but not required
