Job Title: Head of Supplier Management

Welcome to the Technology Supplier Management team at Nordea Bank, where we add value by measuring and improving supplier performance through standardized ways of working and governance around our external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 highly qualified professionals to improve productivity and maturity in their operational support.
  • Ensure Nordea's external suppliers' contractual SLAs are measured and managed for consistent performance.
  • Mature and implement required processes and activities to monitor supplier performance.
  • Be responsible for executing contractual amendments according to internal processes.
  • Ensure key contractual obligations are followed-up on and managed.
  • Ensure supplier services are delivered according to Nordea's security requirements.
  • Work with different stakeholders and support suppliers in delivering required services for Nordea.
  • Standardize performance management and reporting for all critical suppliers.
  • Act as an SME in Supplier Governance meetings and facilitate discussions related to supplier performance (if needed).
  • Support Nordea project teams during procurement processes and provide required inputs from supplier performance management aspects.

This is an opportunity to join an international team of specialists who ensure that our external Technology suppliers provide maximum value to Nordea by delivering stable IT services with agreed performance levels and within risk appetite.

Requirements:

  • Prior working experience with external Technology suppliers.
  • Leadership experience and ability to manage team members located in different countries.
  • Working knowledge of CLM and SRM practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt in changing situations.
  • Familiarity with IT Operations and Software development working models.
  • Self-driven and able to prioritize work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
