Job Description

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems within Amazon. This includes developing and implementing control panels, power distribution systems, and other related systems to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as experience with software tools used in building automation system design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Control Panels: Design and develop control panels to meet the required specifications and performance standards.
  • Implement Power Distribution Systems: Install and test power distribution systems to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.
  • Maintain and Upgrade Systems: Commission and maintain building automation systems to ensure they continue to meet performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering: A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required for this role. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience with Building Automation Systems: Proven experience working with building automation systems, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  3. Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical and mechanical principles, as well as experience with software tools used in building automation system design and implementation.
  4. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
