Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Sweden. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance across the organization.

• Develop and maintain accurate monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, including disclosure forms, and OneStream reporting.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly Status sales reporting for Hexagon Metrology Nordics.
• Perform analytical review of the financial results on a monthly basis.
• Manage IFRS Leasing Reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations/recharges.
• Ensure local statutory reporting and audits are completed in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement procedures to meet local reporting obligations, including VAT, Social costs, EU sales reports, Intrastat, Statistical reports, and tax returns.
• Maintain hands-on control of accounting functions.
• Support forecasting and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) to inform financial decision-making and budgeting processes.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

• Fully qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines.
• Hands-on mentality and ownership responsibility since only a few tasks can be delegated.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships across the Group.
• Ideal candidate would have some experience with Sweden's local tax regulations, but training will be provided.
