Your future role

Join us and leverage your expertise as an Electrical Safety Compliance Specialist in a pioneering field. You will report to Björn Alm (Head of Environment, Health and Safety Services & RSC) and collaborate with a team of dedicated and supportive colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce compliance with Electricity Regulations concerning Traction and Rolling Stock Maintenance, Product Systems Support, and Distribution Installations.
  • Ensure adherence to Swedish electrical regulations for the installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated systems along the trackside.
  • Establish written delegations for personnel involved in electrical safety and installation tasks.
  • Act as the registered compliance lead electrician for electrical installation companies with Swedish authorities.
  • Guarantee that the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment are conducted safely.
  • Assign tasks to qualified personnel as necessary.
  • Ensure that electrical equipment is designed and installed to meet operational and maintenance standards.
  • Verify that all electrical installations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance on electrical issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions in accordance with EN 50110, EN 50191, and Alstom's specific electrical safety framework.
  • Assess risks associated with work scopes and implement effective risk control measures.
  • Update and annually review electrical control programs and instructions for various Alstom Sweden operations.
  • Support CE-labeling for test equipment and high-voltage testing apparatus.
  • Monitor compliance with the electrical control program and ensure personnel are adequately covered in the respective program.
  • Conduct inspections and verifications of testing facilities and laboratories per Swedish and European standards.
  • Inspect sites and oversee installation and commissioning activities along the trackside.
  • Assist in investigations of electrical incidents and root cause analyses (RCA).

About You:

  • A university degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Full authorization A.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety.
  • A structured approach to tasks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English.
