Payroll Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced payroll compliance expert to join our team at TN Sweden. As a key member of our Global Payroll Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll operations across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in payroll compliance, audit, and risk management, with a strong understanding of local legislation and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our business units, legal, tax authorities, technical teams, vendors, external consultants, internal/external auditors, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing payroll compliance expertise and support to various business stakeholders
  • Conducting payroll audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing compliance procedures and controls to mitigate risks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting multi-country compliance and configuration
  • Business analysis
  • Implementation/System upgrade coordination, testing and QA
  • Change Request management
  • Support regional/global initiatives; execution of process/continuous improvement
  • Support International Assignee population (hypo tax, data collection, etc.)
  • Conduct legislation reviews on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure compliance
  • Participate in and/or lead internal/external audits
  • Colleague support as needed
  • Assist Payroll operations as time permits

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive payroll experience with advanced HR, Finance and/or IT experience required
  • Working in a Shared Services environment
  • Implementations support for at least 2 countries onto a new operating platform
  • Data Collection/Conversions
  • Time & Attendance knowledge
  • Implementation/System upgrade coordination, testing and QA
  • Proficient knowledge of GL - ability to recon & fix
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (excel, word, etc.)
  • Experienced knowledge of country and localized payroll legislation
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
