We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our collaborative project on maximizing carbon-rich product yield from bioresources via an innovative two-stage pyrolysis method. This project is funded by the Strategic Innovation Program, BioInnovation, and involves partnerships with Envigas AB, Stena Recycling AB, Outokumpu Oyj, Swerim AB, and LTU.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental work, characterizing pyrolysis products, and participating in large-scale experiments. They will also contribute to the development of novel two-stage pyrolysis methods and collaborate with project partners to drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications- Masters degree in chemical engineering, energy engineering, or process engineering
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Good understanding of biomass pyrolysis and its applications
