Software Engineer C/C++ Critical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Critical Care team at Maquet Critical Care AB. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in developing state-of-the-art mechatronic medical systems that contribute to life-saving innovations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop software solutions that fulfill system functionality and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with highly skilled colleagues across multiple disciplines to address complex interdisciplinary challenges and devise innovative solutions.
- Lead the decision-making process for software implementation across multiple sites.
- Several years of experience in software development using C/C++, ideally with a background in embedded systems programming.
- Passion for advanced healthcare, with a desire to contribute to products in intensive care and anesthesiology.
- Genuine interest in coding and willingness to be hands-on and deep dive into the code base.
- Ability to make critical technical decisions and excel in high-expectation environments.
- Effective team player, with experience working in cross-functional teams that include product managers, designers, and testers.
- Master of Science in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in designing complex systems in a regulated environment.
- Experience in agile methodology.
- Analytical and systematic problem solver, adept at tackling complex challenges and breaking tasks into manageable components.
- Proactive and assertive, capable of leading technology initiatives and driving subprojects toward their goals.
- Innovative thinker, always exploring new ideas and pushing technological boundaries.
