The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lean manufacturing professional to join our team as a Lead Process Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production management, engineering, and operations, to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with production management, engineering, and operations teams to develop and implement process improvements.
- Provide training and coaching to production staff on Lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of a culture of excellence within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean manufacturing, process improvement, or a related field.
- Proven track record of implementing successful process improvements and driving efficiency gains.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform improvement decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence behavior change.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies, such as Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
Compensation and Benefits:
