Senior R&D Electrical Engineer

As a Senior R&D Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and running feasibility studies, developing new technical concepts, designing new products, and simulating their expected performances using FEM software for dielectric and thermal simulations.

About the Job
  • Develop and implement new technical concepts and designs for high voltage bushings.
  • Organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies and new products.
  • Document and transfer your knowledge and findings from R&D to production environment both locally and in other facilities abroad.
  • Provide technical support in domain of expertise to other departments when needed.
  • Lead development projects on time, on budget, and on quality.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology solutions, international standards, market trends, and customer requirements relating to transformer high voltage bushings.
About You
  • Hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of the design, testing, and experience in developing high voltage insulation components, preferably bushings.
  • Responsible team player with structured, proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented work approach.
  • Spirit of innovation, 'out of the box' thinking.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering R&D role or similar.
