Job Description

The Senior SEO Manager will play a key role in understanding client strategies and executing campaign tasks while maintaining a close eye on time tracking versus allocated budget. This role requires frequent client contact via email, telephone, or face-to-face meetings.

Responsibilities
  1. Immerse yourself in client brands to understand the role of SEO in achieving goals and meeting KPIs.
  2. Guide the team in understanding and analyzing client briefs to improve final output.
  3. Attend key campaign meetings (internal & client-facing) and position yourself as a team authority, asking questions, providing answers and explanations to clients in a concise manner, setting a good example to junior team members, and translating meeting outcomes into actionable next steps.
  4. Develop sophisticated SEO strategies that accurately address client objectives.
  5. Utilize audits, research, and landscape investigations to deliver insight-driven strategies.
  6. Work with client teams' SEO Managers/Executives or Analysts to establish yourselves as the main authority for SEO activities across client campaigns.
  7. Collaborate with internal SEO Managers, Content Managers, and Account Managers to ensure smooth client work implementation.
  8. Work closely with Client Services and Project Management teams to develop integrated digital strategies for clients.
  9. Identify when team members struggle with understanding/delivery of tasks and provide them with support or find an appropriate staff member to do so.
  10. Analyze campaign performance, identify strategic opportunities, and facilitate change to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs.
  11. Provide SEO training to internal teams and clients.
  12. Create queries, dashboards, and pull data from Searchmetrics for the benefit of clients, the SEO Team, and the wider staff.
  13. Engage with Searchmetrics and other partners to ensure effective working relationships, access to insights and betas, and to grow the effectiveness of all campaigns.
  14. Produce client-facing reports, studies, and presentations to Jellyfish brand standards.
  15. Nurture and develop relationships with clients for the day-to-day requirements of SEO campaigns.
  16. Support the SEO Team in delivering their objectives and ensure teams continually develop their digital and marketing expertise.
  17. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and applicable technologies.
  18. Achieve continuous improvement by proactively assessing TN Sweden practices and methods.
  19. Maintain an in-depth understanding of TN Sweden's marketplace, with particular emphasis on new and emerging initiatives.
Qualifications
  1. Possess thorough experience and knowledge of working within Earned Media, with impeccable knowledge of monitoring and metrics.
  2. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of industry software & tools, including ahrefs, SEMrush, various rank tracking technologies, ScreamingFrog, Botify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Google AdWords.
  3. Show highly competent skills in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Slides/Powerpoint, Google Docs/Word.
  4. Exhibit strong communication skills, as you will be required to discuss project plans, strategies, and results with project leaders.
  5. Show excellent organizational skills, as the role will require assisting with multiple priorities, projects, and relationships.
  6. Demonstrate creativity and ability to conceptualize and execute unique ideas under pressure.
  7. Be confident in pitching and concisely communicating creative, strategic, and professional ideas.
  8. Be a self-motivated individual who consistently monitors their respective landscape in order to keep up to speed with industry developments, new tactics, and thought leadership.
  9. Demonstrate a natural intuition to understand what does or does not fit within a client's brand ethics.
