About Carbo Culture

We are a pioneer in the climate technology sector, dedicated to developing innovative biochar carbon removal solutions. Our patented Carbolysis reactors convert waste biomass into stable biochar, safely storing carbon for centuries while generating renewable energy. With our R3 test rig already operational and C1, our first commercial facility, currently under development, we aim to establish multiple facilities by 2026 under a project platform model.

About The Team

You'll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team expanding our presence in the Nordics. In this role, you'll work closely with our Nordic business development and commercial leadership, gaining direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to significantly contribute to our strategic direction. About The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team in Stockholm or Helsinki. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our business development efforts, enabling the team to focus on building client relationships and driving deals forward.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Analysis & Strategy
  1. Proactively identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the industrial decarbonization sector to shape our strategic direction.
  2. Benchmark our geographic approach against industry best practices to inform strategic adjustments and unlock growth potential.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive market intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making across teams and initiatives.
Project Development
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to build and refine new project concepts that align with our broader sustainability and business goals.
  2. Conduct sensitivity analyses and feasibility studies to evaluate potential risks, returns, and long-term viability.
  3. Research emerging opportunities, prepare stakeholder materials for introductory calls, and track pipeline progress to ensure efficient project delivery and organizational alignment.
Financial Analysis
  1. Develop and maintain robust financial models to assess the commercial viability of ongoing and prospective initiatives.
  2. Conduct cost-benefit analyses, distill insights from complex data sets, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize investment decisions.
  3. Interpret financial data to guide budgeting, forecasting, and resource prioritization in support of broader portfolio objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a business analyst or consulting role, ideally within the energy sector (renewables, project development, or pricing modeling experience is a plus). Experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
  • Financial Modeling: Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish proficiency is a strong advantage, and Finnish is a plus.
  • Mindset: Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A strong commercial mindset and a passion for the carbon removal industry are essential.
