Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Environment Artist to join our team at Remedy Entertainment Sweden AB. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality environment art for our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Northlight tools team to improve our proprietary technology and define workflows and content pipelines.
  • Advise and review external development to maintain the quality and art style of the project.
  • Identify and implement best practices across the project.
  • Lead and mentor a team of environment artists to ensure the delivery of high-quality assets.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable work experience as a Lead Environment Artist, Lead Level Architect, or in an equivalent role.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Expert-level understanding of shape, composition, and layout.
  • Familiarity with working within Maya, 3DS Max, or other 3D software packages and a good technical understanding of game engines.
  • Good understanding of gameplay and level design.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a dedication to improving your craft.
  • Thrives working in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others.
