Senior VFX Artist

Remedy Entertainment, a leading independent game studio, is seeking a highly skilled Senior VFX Artist to join our team. As a Senior VFX Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, real-time visual effects for our AAA-level projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement video game special effects, following the project's artistic direction and production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director, Artists, and Programmers to create and deliver VFX that embodies the creative vision of our games.
  • Ensure that the visual effects are optimized in accordance with the approved game style and technical requirements constraints.
  • Create and maintain workflow documentation for your team's content.
  • Collaborate and communicate with your teammates and other departments to guarantee that the quality of the game is consistent.
Requirements:
  • At least one shipped AAA title/project or equivalent work in a related field.
  • Experience using industry-standard 3D content creation tools (Houdini, Maya, 3DSMax, Substance, Photoshop, etc.) and knowledge of animation principles.
  • Ability to interpret and transform abstract ideas into compelling effects.
  • Experience working within a managed production environment with time management, schedules, prioritization of work, and related organizational needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
