About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Development Manager to join our team in Västerås. As a key member of our Train Control & Communication Platform team, you will be responsible for managing the program development process, coordinating high-level planning, stakeholders, and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply process, standards, methods, and tools to ensure efficient program development.
  • Organize the program development process and its continuous improvement.
  • Lead the program development activities, including sprint planning and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Manage the program baseline and its configuration items.
  • Support the Program Manager for cost and planning management.
  • Validate material selection and procurement activities together with the Program Manager.
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  • Performance measurements and reporting.
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in System Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous working experience in planning agile product development processes.
  • Certification in Agile or Scrum Master is an advantage.
  • Experience in development of embedded software and hardware.
  • Proven experience with Linux for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial or railway safety standards (IEC61508/EN50128/EN60567/EN50129) is a plus.
  • Knowledge about cyber security standards is an advantage.
  • Desired competencies: planning, communication, team leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, initiative.
  • Fluent in English.
