Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing a strong safety culture throughout the organization. You will take responsibility for fostering a safe work environment by actively establishing and upholding control measures and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, activity plans, schedules, and preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety, environmental, and compliance standards are met and maintained.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Project Execution: Oversee and manage the execution of mechanical projects, including upgrades and installations.
- System Management: Maintain and manage mechanical systems and technology to ensure they operate efficiently and adhere to regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance, and provide regular reports to operations management.
- Supplier Management: Work with and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Departmental Budget: Manage the department's budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Culture and Collaboration: Foster an innovative and inclusive organizational culture with a focus on continuous improvements and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Relevant degree in engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Greenfield Projects: Experience in greenfield projects, startups, or commissioning.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong process and technical knowledge in the mechanical field.
- ISO Systems: Experience in ISO systems 9001/14001/45001.
- Digital Tools: Insight into digital tools for maintenance.
- SMS Equipment: Experience working with SMS equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, including Office suite and CMMS systems.
- Leadership and Team Management: Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Industry Regulations: Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Language Skills: Very good communication skills in English. Basic Swedish skills are seen as a plus.
