About the Position


We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our Connectivity Technology stream, you will play a crucial role in building a global on-board connectivity platform for our brands.


Your Responsibilities



  • Perform threat analysis and risk assessment on products, identifying new problem areas and evaluating security control effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a cybersecurity risk management strategy, ensuring that risks remain at an acceptable level for the organization.
  • Manage an inventory of organization's assets, identifying and assessing cybersecurity-related threats and vulnerabilities of ICT systems.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and risk levels, ensuring that all cybersecurity risks are properly mitigated.
  • Collaborate with our design teams to develop and maintain large solution-level enablers for digital services, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

About You


We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong background in cybersecurity, automotive technology, and risk management. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Required Qualifications and Experience



  • University degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on onboard connectivity and cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of implementing cybersecurity risk management frameworks, methodologies, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both in business and privately, as well as in speaking and writing.
