About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Information Security Officer to join our team at Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). As a key member of our Chief Digital Officer's Office, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital landscape and ensuring the security of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a Business Information and Cyber Security roadmap for GTT, aligned with the Volvo Group's overall strategy.
  • Act as a strategic information security advisor, aligning GTT's security practices with the Group's overall strategy.
  • Facilitate communication between GTT and the Group's functions, promoting a unified approach to information security across the organization.
  • Build up and coordinate GTT's capabilities around information & cyber security, in tight collaboration with the functions in GTT, Group security and our key partners.
  • Establish a network inside GTT around information security and act as a coach for GTT on Information & cyber security topics.
  • Lead, coordinate, and drive GTT's information security function and set the information security vision and strategy for the organization.
  • Participate in incident handling and risk assessment, and drive the dialogue with business representatives to understand their needs and secure the translation into concrete deliverables that create business value.
Requirements
  • Extensive IT or Product Development Management Experience.
  • Multiple years of professional experience in the field of Cyber Security, IT Security or Information Security, preferably within Enterprise Information Security.
  • Excellent knowledge within InfoSec best practices, process design and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of how IT- and InfoSec contribute to increased protection of business operations.
  • Skilled at Stakeholder Management, Scoping, Scheduling, Quality, Risk management and planning.
  • Strategy and roadmap development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Information Security or similar role.
  • Experience with one or more security frameworks (NIST, ISO 21434, ISO 27001, MITRe, CIS, CCM).
  • Knowledge within data protection laws applicable worldwide, especially GDPR, Federal Trade Commission Act, HIPAA, GLBA.
  • Good knowledge of available security solutions to enhance security postures for enterprise applications such as CDN, WAF, Bot management, RASP, Attack analysis.
  • Relevant certifications in the area e.g. CISSP are considered to be meritorious.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
  • Big network within AB Volvo is a merit.
