Job Summary

Ria is seeking a highly skilled Transaction Review Analyst to join our Compliance Department in Stockholm, Sweden. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's operations adhere to laws and regulations applicable to the Money Service Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Review and Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence processes, reviewing and analyzing customer transactions to detect and prevent Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) activities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure transactions are reviewed and processed within the stipulated turnaround time, adhering to Ria's Compliance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), rules, and regulations.
  • Suspicious Activity Reporting: Identify and escalate suspicious transactional activities for further investigation within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Name Screening and Customer Information Review: Review customer information to assess potential matches to name screening hits flagged by screening systems and recommend appropriate treatment.
  • Transaction Blocking and Record-Keeping: Review and analyze transactions blocked by the system and maintain accurate records for review by auditors and regulators.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a proactive team member, interfacing with business departments, stores, and agents to ensure seamless operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Anti-Money Laundering regulations, including record-keeping, internal recording-keeping, identification, and source of funds requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Provide assistance with inbound and outbound calls, perform other duties as assigned by the Compliance Officer or TRG Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or above
  • Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing, excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English, excellent phone etiquette, detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well under minimal supervision.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Compliance, policies, laws, and regulations in the money service business industry, international profile, ability to understand other cultural perspectives and norms, proficiency in Microsoft 365, understanding of trends, analytical capabilities, and connecting dots in transaction monitoring.
