About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Product team at Sympower, a leading software company accelerating the global transition towards 'net-zero' by building smarter, cleaner renewable energy systems.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial part in shaping the direction of our products, ensuring their successful implementation, and deeply understanding the needs and experiences of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy
    • Develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize features
    • Provide context and guidance to the team to ensure impactful results
    • Improve the visibility and positioning of the product team within the company
  • Execution
    • Prioritize product outcomes and capabilities based on research and data analysis
    • Set goals, define success metrics, and motivate the team to achieve
    • Own the team backlog and fulfillment, collaborating closely with the engineering team
    • Align stakeholders around product outcomes
  • User Understanding
    • Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to inform strategic decisions
    • Define behavioral questions, set analytics tools, measure, learn, and adjust
    • Work with a product designer on user science techniques to understand end-users deeply
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a minimum of 1 year in the energy industry
  • Hands-on and results-oriented focus with a proven ability to develop and manage complex software products with the team
  • Experience with planning roadmap initiatives using the Double Diamond framework and prioritizing them using various frameworks (weighted score, RICE, etc.) in product management tools such as Productboard, Airfocus, etc.
  • Interest in user science techniques such as survey, interview, prototyping, A/B testing, analytics tools
  • Proven ability to go from raw data to information, create conclusions, and suggest actions
  • Proven experience of pro-active behavior and contributing to the development of the product team culture
  • Experience within the B2B industry beneficial
