We're seeking a Global Trade Expert to join our team, responsible for ensuring that our international trade operations are compliant with all applicable trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will have a strong background in international trade laws, regulations, and company policies. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to international, national, and regional trade laws, implementing and managing trade compliance policies and procedures, and coordinating export/import licenses and permits.
In this role, you'll work closely with the engineering, supply chain, procurement, and legal teams to ensure compliance with export control classifications, product categorization, and country-specific regulations. You'll also provide training and support to internal teams on trade compliance requirements and best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to international, national, and regional trade laws.
- Implement and manage trade compliance policies and procedures for electric driveline components and technologies.
- Coordinate and process export/import licenses, permits, and other trade-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely filing of required customs documentation.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain related to trade compliance and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in the automotive or electric driveline sector. A bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or another related field is required.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of global trade laws, including export controls, customs regulations, and tariff classifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, orally and written.
