We're seeking a Head of Corporate Communication to lead our internal and external communication efforts. As a key member of our global team, you'll have the opportunity to shape Volvo Penta's voice and deliver class-leading communication that inspires, explains the 'why,' and strengthens our reputation globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance employee engagement and stakeholder alignment during a time of rapid change.
  • Shape Volvo Penta's voice and deliver class-leading communication that inspires, explains the 'why,' and strengthens our reputation globally.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and the Volvo Group Corporate Communication network to amplify our story.
  • Develop and execute strategies: Deliver impactful communication plans that support the company's objectives and enhance its external and internal brand reputation.
  • Lead executive communications: Shape the Volvo Penta narrative and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Collaborate and align: Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain messaging consistency and support business objectives.
  • Monitor and adapt: Use data and analytics to measure communication effectiveness and refine strategies.
  • Crisis management: Lead crisis communication efforts and address media inquiries when needed.

  • A strategic and hands-on leader: You seamlessly shift between big-picture thinking and tactical execution.
  • A forward-thinking communicator: You're not afraid to innovate and try new approaches to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills: Fluent in English, with a talent for simplifying complex ideas and creating compelling narratives.
  • Analytical mindset: You use data to inform decisions and improve results.
  • Relevant experience: A bachelor's degree in a related field and proven expertise in corporate communication.

  • You'll be part of the core Volvo Penta strategic communication team as well as the global Volvo Penta Communication Community working in close cooperation with both Volvo Group Corporate Communication and other Volvo Business Areas.
